Szczeliniec Wielki, Park Narodowy Gór Stołowych

While taking this photo a narly dude walked out of this place and glared at me. It scared me so I quickly walked away. I began to wonder what went on in there exactly - there is an evil skull on top of skateboards indicating death then they go on to say "Hell on Wheels." Great, just how I want to spend my freetime, possibly dying while trying to take up a new activity.

little thing i did for halloween

hell tour was very fun, though it's not like a real hell, just a onsen theme park..

It’s rather cool to stand below the bridge and the tram and look up from below…and stop to think that, at certain times of year, I would be underwater from where I took this photo.

A bit of Seeweed at Hell's Mouth (Porth Neigwl). I shot this after going for a surf. I was hoping to get some shots of surfers but I was the only one there!

These are theshort, black limestone formations that are found at the famed Hell. It was a lot smaller than I thought (apparently the size of half a soccer field).

Welcome to Hell!

This photo was taken at Hell station. Hell is actually a small village in Stjørdal, Norway with a population of 352.

The name Hell comes from the Old Norse word 'hellir', which means 'overhang' or 'cliff cave' but it can also mean 'luck' in Norwegian.

One of the many basalt cliffs of Hell's Gate National Park. This is the only park that I know of in Kenya that will let you walk or bike along the roads in the park.

A Hell Talon fighter-bomber, and some Chaos dreadnoughts (Alpha Legion, Thousand Sons and Night Lords I think).

The lightning decoration probably marks this as a Nights Lord flyer.

This is Hells Hollow Falls which is part of Hells Run in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Shot with a Holga 120N on Efke R50 film. This is a 15 second exposure with the help of a 8x ND filter stacked with polarizer filter.

Do you see a face on the right? Reminds me a bit of the Easter Island heads! Or is it Ted Hughes' Iron Man?

Training trip fitted in at the weekend - 210 mile round-trip in the wind, rain and sleet on loaded road-Jones to see Hell's Bells with Ruth and Ade : ) Bristol's best band? Good fun as well as a spot-on tribute act, 'Angus' was legendary )

The weather handed it to me on the way home though, 7.5hrs of rain and snow-sleet blown directly in my face, just got worse as I went on. Last 2 hours was barely-controlled shivers if I slowed up or stopped, a slow creeping numbness and some 'dark moments'. Tough, but valued lessons learnt. And Hell's Bells still rocked.

So Nick at Miller's Yamaha in Belle Vernon, PA did me a real solid. He talked me off a ledge when my 2006 motorcycle was all f**d up - not running and spitting gasoline out of one of the tailpipes, and told me to change the plugs and beat the hell out of the bike if it got started.

Well, I did just that. It's running like a bat out of hell.

He could just as easily have told me I had to bring it in and taken me for another kind of ride, but he didn't, and that's going to get them my business for good.

Dang, I feel all manly n' shit...got my 'cycle running. Woohoo!

...now for the old beetle...

We finally made the trek to visit this place. The pictures do not do it justice, it's quite fascinating.
