A lovely quote by Winston Churchill. I strongly live by his words. They are true, there is no way out of hell but through it so keep going.
This dog tag was a gift from someone really special. It was given to me when I signed up and took oath to serve in the armed forces of the United States. This person told me to keep this in my mind through my upcoming dark hours.

" HELL SKY "
An awkward sky rolled in at sun set tonight... wasn't to sure if something was sneaking up on us or what. After sitting outside with the camera and checking the weather network, I saw that we are only expecting a Thunderstorm and nothing to serious.
One of the many basalt cliffs of Hell's Gate National Park. This is the only park that I know of in Kenya that will let you walk or bike along the roads in the park.

I was 18, fearless and seized every opportunity that came my way. It was the summer before I started uni and I felt like the world was my oyster.
I look back at this girl and want to feel confident and fresh and feisty again.
I didn't know it then, but this was me at my best.
