The Shorts Belfast is a heavy lift turboprop freighter that was built by British manufacturer Short Brothers at Belfast. Only 10 aircraft were constructed between 1964 and 1968, all of which entered service with the Royal Air Force (RAF), who operated it under the designation Short Belfast C.1.

Upon its entry into service, the Belfast was the largest aircraft that the British military had ever operated up to that time. Following the formation of RAF Strike Command and a reorganisation of transport assets, the RAF decided to retire all of its Belfast transports by the end of 1976.

Shortly after the type had been retired by the RAF, five Belfasts were sold in 1977 and placed into civilian service with the cargo airline TAC HeavyLift from 1980. These civilian aircraft were used for the charter transport of various goods, including to the RAF. One Belfast is on display at the RAF Museum Cosford.

G-BEPS (Belfast C.1 c/n SH1822) made its first flight on February 21st, 1966 and it was dleivered to teh Royal Air Force in March 1966 as XR368. In April 1977 it was sold to Pan African Airlines as G-BEPS and in September 1978 it was sold to Heavylift Cargo Airline. From April 30th, 2001 the plane was stored at Southend Airport (EGMC).

Built in 1980 by SW 'de Waal' BV, Zaltbommel for Scheepvaartmij. Enes BV (Enship Nederland BV, managers). Equipped with two heavy lift derricks of 100t and 150t capacity, the forward derrick and A-frame could move fore and aft over the single hatch. Sold in 1990 and prior to 2007, the lifting gear was removed and replaced by an excavator three quarters forward over the hatch. Arrived at Aliaga 4 December 2018 as LENI for breaking.

A self-propelled modular transporter or sometimes self-propelled modular trailer (SPMT) is a platform vehicle with a large array of wheels. SPMTs are used for transporting massive objects such as large bridge sections, oil refining equipment, motors and other objects that are too big or heavy for trucks. This remote-controlled SPMT has 96 wheels.

Canadair CL-44 N447T, which at the time was owned by Flying Tiger Lines, was converted into a Guppy by Jack Conroy, Conroy Aircraft Corp. in Santa Barbara, in 1968. It was intended to transport Rolls-Royce RB211 engine pods to the United States for Lockheed's L-1011 Tristar.

The airplane received an FAA STC and has been flying continuously ever since. It was sold to TransMeridian Air Cargo, in Stansted, England, in 1969, and it operated with them, under FAA Registry N447T. It was during this time that N447T's nickname was changed from Conroy 103 to Skymonster. TransMeridian operated the Skymonster until they went out of business. It then went to HeavyLift where it flew for many more years before being sold to Buffalo Airways with registration EI-BND for both companies. The Skymonster was then sold to Azerbaijan Airlines and re-registered as 4K-GUP, which operated primarily out of Europe.The Skymonster was operated briefly by Baku Express under the registery numbers that Azerbaijan Airlines used with Baku only removing Azerbaijan's name. The last owner First International, who bought the transport in September 1998 operated the Skymonster under registery 9G-LCA.

The Guppy "Skymonster" CL 44 was flow by the CL 44 Association from the U.S.A. to Great Britain to be preserved. As of 2010, it remains with all engines removed at Bournemouth (Hurn) Airport, England.
