Built in 1988 by J.J. Sietas KG SW GmbH & Co. Hamburg (yard no. 1121) for Schiffahrtskontor Altes Land GmbH & Co. Equipped with two 275 tonne and one 150 tonne cranes. Renamed GREEN OCEAN in 2011 before reverting to ANNEMIEKE the following year.
The Unipower Heavy Hauler built as a prototype tank transporter for the Army and later converted by ALE/Abnormal Load Engineering into a heavy haulage prime mover.
P547HNT is seen here earlier today assisting with the delivery of a 130ton Siemens Electrical Transformer to a North London sub-station.

The coal fired Manchester Ship canal crane named 'The 250 Ton Crane' Built by N.V. Werf Gusto at Schiedam, Netherlands in 1937.
BOILER RT Scotch.
Built 1937 by Lilybank Boiler Works at Glasgow.
Engine Built by Ashworth & Parker Ltd. at Bury For electric drive to crane, one 75 KW, one 40 KW. Plus: two small Ashworth & Parker engines on dynamo & air compressor; Various pumps by Drysdale, G. & J. Weir and Hayward Tyler; Warping drums and deck winches by Clarke Chapman.
The 250 Ton Crane was used for lifting lock gate & other Heavy Machinery on the ship canal, and was last in use in the 1990's
She has since been laid up at Runcorn and is now seen under tow by GT Victory to a new home in Newcastle.
UPDATE: 30/6/22 Photos have appeared on social media showing the destruction of the 250ton crane. The proposed project having failed.

The maiden revenue voyage of this small, Dutch, heavy load carrier.
Note the watchkeepers/lookouts on the bridge of the *landing craft* and on the small deck by the funnel of the Fairlane.
This is, of course, due to the totally obstructed view from the bridge of the Fairlane.
Three visible vessels loaded on deck:
1) Tank Landing Craft 'L-1035', 2,995 dwt.(French built) for the Ethiopian Navy.
2) Forward tug is the 'Selat Riau (Norwegian built) IMO 7617034
for Indonesia.
3) After tug - unknown.
Fairlane:
Keel laid on 02/01/1977, launched on 13/04/1977 and completed on 30/06/1977 by De Groot & Van Vliet, Slikkerveer, Netherlands (394)
3,842 g.t. and 4,420 dwt., as:
'Fairlane' to 1996,
'Medglory' to 2001,
'Fair' to 2003 and
'Rula' until sold to India for demolition. Arrived Alang on 20/01/2011, work began on 25/01/2011.
Vessel was built as a heavy load carrier and converted to a general cargo ship in 1996.

Air Foyle HeavyLift was an aviation company based in Bishop's Stortford, United Kingdom. It specialised in heavy air cargo services.
4K-GUP (Canadair C-44D4-2 Conroy Skymoster c/n 16) was delivered in August 1961 to Flying Tigers Line as N447T. In December 1968 it was sold to Conroy Aircraft Co. for conversion to CL-44D2-2 Guppy and then leased to TAC Transmerifian Air Cargo from July 1970. In June 1979 the plane was leased to British cargo Airlines and then, since March 1980, stored. In August 1982 the aircraft was acquired by Heavylift Cargo Airlines as EI-BND and in December 1993 leased to Buffalo Airways. From August 1997 it was leased as 4K-GUP to Azerbaijan Hava Yollari that in April 1998 sub-leased to Baku Express. From August 1998 to August 1999 it was leased as 9G-LCA to First International Airways and then stored at MQY. In December 2002 the plane was leased by Johnsons Air and since December 2006 it returned to Heavylift Cargo Airlines as RP-C8023 to be stored at BOH due to regulatory issues.
