Some photos from a small fashion show in Manila. The show was called Heavenly bodies. Some of the models were indeed a touch on the heavenly side. I sort of forgot about the fashion part of the show... and started photographing bodies...

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Isiah 7:14 KJV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?
Mary did you know.. Ooo Ooo Ooo
The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you're holding is the Great, I Am.
Just returned from a trip to Hualien-- a remote city locates in the east coast of Taiwan. This is one of the "must visit" places: Lake Illusion (meaning translation from Chinese夢幻湖). It was still cloudy but blue sky could be seen sometimes. Just love the reflection on the lake. What a heavenly vision! The house in the photo is a B & B. Plan to stay there next time~
There are perhaps a lot of names of the Amida Buddha, such as Eve, Asherah, Spider Woman, glass spider, and, when internalised Lucifer. One might even argue that all names including improper ones such as "food" may be appropriate.
I think it may be important to give 'her' one name so as to emphasise her externality. She is not me.
I am stumped for choice but "mother" is amazingly honest.
Whose feet are shown?
Not mine.
Yoshiomi Imamura and I did an experiment on perception of hand size which showed that schizophrenics knew the size of "their hands" while others (non schizophrenics) did not. These are not my feet.
First person POV feet and normal feet look almost the same but, what of the almost invisible nose(s)? Even the "headless" community forget or ignore the nose(s). Only the Wolf Man was troubled by the hole or scar in his nose.
I am lucky in that my mother has a big nose.
Heaven can be seen through your mother's noses.
I forgot the chicken.
* one more night * ~ song lyrics by phil collins
www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oMFj5vMqgM
One more night
one more night.
I've been trying for so
long to let you know
let you know how I feel.
And if I stumble
if I fall just help me back
so I can make you see.
Please give me one more night
give me one more night
One more night
'cos I can't wait forever.
Give me just one more night
just one more night
. . .
I've been sitting here so
long. waisting time
Just staring at the phone.
And I was wondering
should I call you?
Then I thought: Maybe
you're not alone.
Please give me one more night
give me just one more night
. . .
Please give me one more night
just one more night
. . .
Give me one more night
just one more night
. . .
Like a river to the sea I
will always be with you
And if you sail away I
will follow you.
Give me one more night
give me just one more night
. . .
I know there'll never be
a time you'll ever feel
the same
And I know it's only right.
But if you'll change
your mind you know that
I'll be here
And maybe we both can learn.
Give me just one more night
give me just one more night
. . .
Give me just one more night
give me just one more night
. . .
Water droplets on a swan's feather. The quality of light reflections reminds me of ancient tales of the heavenly swan.
We would be even smaller than a water droplet on the feather of Cygnus the heavenly swan of as it flies along the Milky Way.
One of my favourite modern stories is in the" Island of the Setting Sun" by Anthony Murphy which is the study of Ireland's megalithic monuments through local folklore and astronomical observation.
There is an ancient tale " the vision of Angus" that links to New Grange which is built on the flood plain of the river Boyne. Every winter it is home to thousands of Bewick and Whooper swans. The floor plan of the passage at of New grange famously lit by the mid winter sun is very similar to the shape of the constellation of Cygnus.
At the time New Grange was built the entrance in the neck of the swan points to Four Knocks., whose passageway points to Cygnus at Mid winter the starry wings of the celestial swan appear to touch the earth.
This was the time when the North star was in the constellation of Cygnus (Deneb I think,) as such New Grange, Avebury and Waylands Smithy have all been shown in recent studies to be aligned to Cygnus at the time of building.
These are controversial studies but I can't help feeling that in our modern age of artificial light something wonderful has been lost when we forget how to navigate by the stars.
Called Thean Ho Keong meaning 'Temple of the Heavenly Quenn', the temple was founded before 1866.
Dedicated to the goddess Mar Chor, patron saint of seafarers, it is the temple of the Hainan Provincial Association or Kheng Chew Hooi Khoon.
The present building dates from 1895, and serves as a common temple for different groups from the island of Hainan (Kheng Chew) in South China.
In 1995, the 100-year-old temple was remodelled by craftsmen from China with elaborate stone carvings and swirling dragon pillars.
Together on the heavenly stairway. It seems they still have a long way to go, but who knows whatever comes their way?
