A HDR Capture

We were very fortunate to spend this year's 4th of July holiday with family & friends, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! We also had a rare opportunity to attend a fireworks show as a guest of the team responsible for running the event.

Just wanted to say thank you to Doug, Brian, and the rest of the team for giving us the opportunity to see how a professional fireworks display is choreographed and executed. The show was outstanding, and will be remembered by us for a long time to come.

Here's a few of my favorite fireworks shots that I took at their show... These are all non-HDR captures, and have been finished in Photoshop.

my 1986 droptop SL - take it out each weekend for a drive and capture some of my countryside photos. This is an HDR capture at an abandoned gas station in the southern Hill Country.

Boise Depot on Christmas Day 2008. Pentax 67 and Velvia. Another of my "not quite" images. Needed abit more ambient light for the foreground, so I will try again. HDR guys: what do you think? could HDR capture this tough exposure?

I shot this one in Paris in the modern neighborhood: la Défense.

I capture one file in RAW and I rielaborated with Photoshop and Photomatix, yeah this is another HDR capture!

I hope you are all doing well.

I'm also happy that some of you remembered me, and commented on my last post which was my first post in almost 2 years.

Anyway, this is an HDR capture of some Aspen Trees back in June when me and my Uncle www.flickr.com/photos/fresnatic/ went into the mountains around Park City. I had a lot of fun that day UNCLE despite me not having any sleep.

I hope you Like it and if you want, leave a comment stating how good the photo is, what can I improve on, or you are just saying HI. Either way I still read them and I become more happy.

This park features 15 miles of hiking and riding trails through a variety of forested areas including redwoods, mixed evergreens, riparian, Ponderosa pine, as well as rare ancient marine deposits called Santa Cruz sand hills. We took this shot while visiting the Henry Cowell state park en route to the natural bridges state park in Santa Cruz. This is an awesome location to see some old growth Redwoods and spend some time on a leisurely hike traversing the simple trail through the state park exploring the amazing tall giants around here.

This is an HDR capture using HDR Efex pro 2 for the first time and I am liking the results a lot much better than the software I used previously. Enjoy and hope all had a great Thanksgiving!!

3xp HDR -2ev, 0, +2ev.

I found that I didn't have the dynamic range to capture the details of the cow and the lake palace in the background, and I didn't have my flash with me, so, as the cow wasn't moving much, I did an HDR capture.
