Tremendous storm tore my neighborhood apart. 5 minute storm, and it's been sirens and such all night. We have (shockingly) maintained power through it all. Everyone has been walking about checking out the damage.

During my Saturday ritual of cleaning house, I gathered up the mail from the past few weeks. After seperating the important crap from the "I didn't ask for this crap, I was left with a handful of things to file and a full trash can. I wonder if I should shred the credit card offers. I turned most of them into confetti but you can never bee too carefull, thats why there is a glausen blurr added to my mail. I don't want any Flickrites stealing my identity. A treehugger chastised me at work for wasting paper. Why are these people not spending their time where it will benefit the most, at credit card companies. I live for the now, I will never meet my great, great, great grand children, and could care less if they blame me for destroying the earth. This, is the word of the bored.
so *not* scary. it was love at first cut. seriously. i am so loving this playing with fabric. yay, new hobby! (jennie, don't hate me because i started cutting without you!!)
I really do hate colorkey photos. Its completely over-used and outdated at the same time. So a good reason for me to still post a colorkey photo! :-)

9/18. Part of my art exam project. A series, I'm posting 18 out of the 25 I made. This will actually be set up as an installation piece, which will duplicate a living room, with the artwork I produced framed on the wall along with 'normal' photos, to show the maybe we should be proud of even our darkest secrets, because they make us who we are. I need to point out that these are not all my secrets, in fact, most aren't. They're a mix of taboos, personal, and social secrets.
