Need I say more? This is one area where we failed as parents.😅 My kids prefer white, sourdough, French or Italian bread--well anything besides whole wheat or multigrain.

I feel more than ever, that we are losing the ability to love, and acquiring the dishonorable & unworthy ability to hate. Hate only leads to pain, separation, disrespect, selfishness, violence and contempt. If we don't change our direction soon our future generations are going to suffer tremendously. Diversity gives one the ability to understand, have compassion, want to help, have the will to work together, believe in equality for all and embrace our differences. We desperately need education for all, the continuation of the arts, caring for one another no matter who, giving everyone the opportunity to make a decent living and to give everyone the opportunity of healthcare! It is time to think sincerely about what is happening in our world today!

Hexed - Hate Love
They say there is a very fine line between love and hate, and while I don't actually "hate" this tree, I'm not crazy about it, either. My husband found it a couple of years ago when it was just a sprout that randomly appeared in one of the flower pots on our back deck and he planted it - right in the middle of the yard where it sticks out like a sore thumb. And... I don't remember what kind it is, but I don't like this particular kind of tree very much. At the time, it wasn't much more than a twig and it occurred to me that I could simply dig it up and blame it on the dogs, but I just couldn't do that! ; ))
I was taking pics of other things one morning recently and on the way back to the house I just happened to catch a glimpse of the way the morning light was shining on it so beautifully, so I took a quick snap of it. I have come to realize lately that, 'if anything should happen', this tree would instantly become a very precious and treasured 'tree' [memory], so why not learn to embrace it now?! : )

In anticipation of the soon to be released(wide) "The Runaways" film. I recently picked up "Joan Jett and The Blackhearts" Greatest Hits set... I always knew Jett and Lita Ford were former members of The Runaways. But that was pretty much the extent of my knowledge. I had heard "of them", but not their music.
There are about 8 Runaway songs included in this G.Hits package... and this song. Well, "Drives me wild". "I Hate Myself For Loving You" has always been my fave Jett song. But this one might just give it a run for it's money... to think that this is the first song she ever wrote is incredible. She had to of been age 15/16 at the time.
I have a friend at work who grew up listening to The Runaways. She & her sister were greatly influenced by them... not many girl rockers in those days(70's). Certainly no all-girl groups. "Heart" would be the closest I could think of.
While surfing the subject. I've noticed many die-hards doing a bit of poo-pooing in regards to the younger set getting to know "their" group. "Posers", if you will... I say embrace them ladies. Influencing another generation of teens just keeps the music alive.

As soon as I saw this I knew exactly how I would edit this.
So I attack it with my camera and then when I was done I sat down to start trying out the bubbles and I noticed there was ACTUALLY a lifeguard on duty and he was watching me the whole time.
There is rarely ever a lifeguard on duty. But I guess I should have realized it since the boat was out. I'm sure he didn't care anyways. I just hate when I realize later that someone was watching me and I didn't notice.
