This is just a k2, p2 simple sock. I knit most of the second sock during the premiere of grey's anatomy.
These are the same dye-lot believe it or not - crazy how the pooling went from not-so-good to terrible on the second sock.

Paris is perhaps the most romantic city in the world, but after a massive influx of “love locks” over the past years, Parisians are feeling anything but romance. Love locks are a trend with unknown origins for couples to show their love for each other. Couples attach a lock to a bridge and then throw away the key signifying their love is forever, but environmental impacts seem to be lasting longer than any young couple’s love. Once the lock is fastened, it is customary to throw the key into the Seine River. With tens of thousands of keys being thrown into the river, it is becoming polluted. Rusted keys are no better than plastic bottles, and the pollution is growing daily. The weight of the locks puts an incredible amount of stress on the bridges, and energy is spent to remove the locks, dispose of them, and repair the bridges from their damage, all to start the cycle over again.
