The new year is a time for forgiving and being forgiven.

I used to stay away from home for weeks at a time. It never mattered that the food was bad and the accomodations nonexistent.

But now I travel little. A quick plane hop and maybe a meeting....

And damn airports.

It's always great to be home.

Slab city. A fully self sufficient city without electricity and running water. These resident reside in what is known as the last place in the United States where a person can have freedom. Here is a sample of what their city is like.

Posted on the bus stop across from Neecha Thai at Sutter and Steiner, where the 2 Clement and the 4 Sutter stop. At least until this weekend when the 4 will be eliminated. It seems some are angry enough to blame cyclists because this low-ridership line is going away.
