For Macro Monday's "Life is Hard"
I hate to cook. I mean really hate to cook. But cook dinner every night {ok, almost every night} I must or the kids might starve. They tend to be picky too and don't like or dislike the same things which makes me hate to cook even more. Then add the fact that we are a busy family with homework, sports, and after school activities and it gets even harder to put food on the table. So for "life is hard" my MM shot is of my stovetop burner because it is hard to get good food on the table that everyone likes, which makes me grumpy.
{Ok, so I know that doesn't make life really hard, believe me I have lived through some very hard times but how to put them in a MM photo was another story so this is my "hard" story and I’m sticking to it!}

I hate when people think I should be like them.
I gotta put a few words here on this one. I absolutley HATE this one. My family has got to be the worst at doing this. They cannot comprehend my mind and so they try to persuade me to be like them. Just tonight...I was talking to my sister...and I let her know that I did not like something. She told me, "well, that doesn't bother me. I am not like that. That is stupid, you shouldn't be that way." My response, as it always is...I AM NOT YOU, I AM ME. They cannot see that I don't think like "normal" people, I do not "act" like normal people. They simply cannot understand the 1%, which is me. They constantly doubt me, throw negative shit in my face, and have always in so many words told me I was different and wrong.
They cannot love me for me, they want me to be someone else, like them. I am still struggling with this on a daily basis because most of the time, the 99% will never see it or understand the 1%. We can explain and explain away, but their minds cannot comprehend it. This is one of my many problems, loving me for me, because all of my life no one has ever JUST loved me for me. Simply put, I am just "TOO MUCH" for people. That is the truth and the bottom line.

The L.A. County Human Relations Commission said Tuesday fewer hate crimes were reported in the County in 2009 than anytime in the previous 10 years. Commission President Sandra Thomas and Executive Director Robin Toma told reporters the findings were "good news" for the County. (Eric Leonard/KFI NEWS)
The widely hated...I think hated is not strong enough a word...yet incredibly popular holidary tradtion of several thousand drunken Santa's, Elves, Christmas Trees, and girls in marginally Christmas related "naughty" costume drinking themselves stupid and vomiting all over the City returns. The secret to photographing SantaCon is to shoot the rally point where it is still funny and cute and go the hell home for the rest of the day. I personally don't mind SantaCon because Santa wouldn't be caught dead bar hopping in Harlem.

Representatives from gaelic games, football and ice hockey were at the event to promote the efforts to eradicate sectarianism, racism and other forms of intolerance from the terraces.
Addressing the well-attended event in the Long Gallery, Mr Robinson said: "The Unite Against Hate campaign promises to give a voice to the often silent majority and enable them to express their opposition to hate and intolerance in our communities and to act on that.
"We want to spell out our clear condemnation of all hate crime attacks and abuse. Hate crime is totally unacceptable and has no place in our society."
Things are getting interesting in Placerville, my little town. The anti-gay faction has been around and being ugly for some time. Many of us have been demonstrating in favor of tolerance. But free speech comes in many different colors, styles and messages.

I hated her body but loved the head. The body is a weird cross between NuFace & FR only shorter and a little crude. As luck would have it, she arrived with a severely cracked neck and the head actually fell off while taking her out of the box! Since I hated the body on sight, I quickly grabbed my spare NuFace body. Huge improvement!!
