This is an older shot I found on my Harddisk.
Sometimes I make some pictures with my old Leica IIIa just to prove my capacity of suffering.
This shot was taken in the Eversten Holz in Oldenburg.
It was the second attempt to develop a HP5 in Rodinal and the first try with stand development. It will be the last try, too. I think HP5 and Rodinal is not a satisfying combination.

In the middle is a nslu (running unslung 6.8 BETA 2, apache, mysql, samba). Right is an old D - Link Router an left is a 320 Gb external storage harddisk.
An old favourite of mine, played this for many many hours over the years! It's a real classic old school computer game, hard disk of course!

dopo aver aperto l'hard disk per distruggerlo, la sua armonica costruzione mi ha colpito, non ho potuto resistere dal fare alcuni scatti.
I got a bunch of broken harddisks and decided to disassemble them and take some real macro shots.
This is the head from a Maxtor DiamondMax VL40 (30 GB, built 2000).

I love how these portable WD hard disks fit in your hand. This one has around 35GB of hard work on it right now to be transferred to a secondary backup store offsite from the main backup.
So much time invested, so much hard work, all in one hand.

Going through my harddisk and found that I haven't posted this photo before. It was taken in Spain in 2005. Nice place and I don't mind going back!
The LaCie magically had flickered back to life for a day or too. Only to then stop working once again. I was able to backup SOME of the critical stuff - but not everything.
It's really starting to look like I'm going to have to fly back to have this fixed. I know Bangladesh has a pretty unstable power grid, but my other big external harddrive (a Western Digital - pictured right) seems to be running just fine on the same setup.
A historical site in downtown San Jose (FOR LEASE). This is where the first hard drive (or Random Access Method of Accounting and Control – “RAMAC”) was conceived.

Eine weitere Glanzleistung von Medion ! Um bei diesem Notebook den Ram zu erweitern, ist fast eine ganze Technikerstunde notwendig, ausserdem muss der CPU Kühler entfernt werden. Andere Notebookhersteller bauen da eine Klappe ein, der Ram ist dann in 3 Minuten eingebaut.

Found a material for these HDR images from my harddisk and decided to finish them with beta version of Photoshop CS6. These were taken in Bruges during Terena Networking Conference there.
