365/365 - My Mother of the Bride flowers still going strong nearly two weeks later, as this was the happiest day of 2017 seemed fitting to use them to wish us all the very best for 2018.
ODC - Beginnings and Endings
May I take this opportunity to wish all my Flickr friends and followers a very Happy Christmas/Seasons Greetings.
Hopefully we will all be blessed with taking some excellent photos next year.
This image was taken in my local church, St Mary's, Alverstoke, at the weekend when we had a Christmas Tree Festival as usual. Apparently over 3000 people came to see it over the 3 days it was on. Taken just after the 8 am Holy Communion service.
Due to a water leak high up above the chancel steps, causing bits of plaster to fall down, the steps were decorated with felt animals to stop people being put at risk of being hit by a bit of plaster.
Best viewed in Large to see the details of the felt animals.
Can't believe it's New Year's eve already!!
Wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!!!
And thanks for all the support and wonderful pictures you posted to inspire me and many more around the world.
Hope to see you around next year as well!!!
Let the celebrations begin!!!
HBW!!!
Flipped over so you can see all the swirly colors! I'm happy in this pic, even though I look unhappy. I just dyed my hair rainbow colors and it's still damp, but I like the results.
About the t-shirt. It's one of my favorite things ever. When work feels overwhelming, remember that you're going to die.
For the record, I'd like it to be noted that my ears are pierced three times, it's just that the second hole is directly above the first instead of further up on the ear like you'd expect. I did it myself when I was about 13, for shits and giggles and kept it all these years in spite of countless other piercings that I let go of. I don't know why I've held onto this one. Anyway, that's why my earlobe looks wonky.
By the way, I was forbidden by my mother to pierce anything after punching two holes in my ears at 11. Did it anyway and she never noticed. Typical. Award winning nurturer, that one.
Look into my heart
and see what I am saying,
For my heart speaks the truth
And the truth is,
I love you. ♥
Happy New Year!

He reminds me of a bouncy ball when he comes flying back to me like this- a lot more boinging than running.

Happy Caturday 3/23/2019: "Dining In Style/Pretty Plates". This cup is usually a water drinking vessel for my cats, but I made it into a wet food/treat vessel for the photos... which given different setup, would have been better. But hey, we're running out of Caturday, especially now which is usually snooze time for these two.
Note: if you want your cats to drink out of a mug or other vessel, it should be wide enough that it doesn't pinch their whiskers much. They do not like that.
SOLD-Thank you! Needlefelted 3 inch jointed bear with handmade hat and broom. Needlefelted owl and pumpkin. All fit neatly in wooden traveling box.
Happy New Year to all you Flickrites! I hope that 2025 is kind to all of us!

Wishing all my Flickr friends a very Happy Christmas!
I have really enjoyed viewing everyone's Trucking photos during the past year and hopefully you have seen some pictures from my Flickr of trucks from Northern Ireland that you might not get to see in your part of the World.
Lets hope 2026 brings lots of trucking photographic opportunities!

Why is it that when I say enough is enough, I go and find a bench I haven't taken before.
This is down at the beach tucked behind a hedge with a gorgeous sea view, but far enough away from the crowds. It's also very comfortable, I gave it a test drive!
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
