Here's my new fake leather trousers that go quite well with my long boots. New top too. The top and trousers were both a practical steal! Love these trousers with the boots. Works well with a new crop top I got too. Hope you're all well on this last day of the year. Have a great one!
A beautiful Bougainvillea growing through my neighbor's fence right under my Banana trees. I love them, but too old to keep them. I'll enjoy hers instead!

Diwali is a festival that is celebrated in India with great vigour and pomp. An essential ingredient of happiness for a family. In terms of celebration stakes it would be akin to Christmas. New clothes, new everything. A quest for prosperity and happiness. A celebration of good over evil.
This was shot some time ago but lay unpublished. Now is as good a time as any to make it public. So here is wishing you Happy Diwali!

2021 has been quite the year here in British Columbia. Heat domes, wildfires, atmospheric rivers, floods, Covid and it's many variants and lately Arctic outflow and bitter cold. But we survive and look forward to better days ahead in 2022. And yet, amidst it all, those who post here on Flickr have made us smile and laugh and stare in awe at the beauty around us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful images my Flickr friends and thank you for your encouragement with mine. Have a Happy New Year and all the best to everyone for 2022 from Abbotsford, B.C.
Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter! It has been so much fun to watch you grow up into the incredible person that you have become. You have made my life so amazing in a million ways! Being your mother definitely brings more happiness. You still continue to amaze me with your brilliance and your singular approach to life! You really deserve the best as you give so much so unconditionally and I love you millions, my gorgeous girl. I am so proud of what you have achieved so far and the obstacles you have overcome. Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends and family and everyone else celebrating Hanukkah. Today begins the yearly celebration for Jews around the world commemorating the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire when the Jews took back and rededicated the Second Temple and their one days worth of oil for lighting lasted 8 days!
Happy Friday from Yoda, Wookie and Mojo! The pugs have just had the most exhausting week... obviously! Lots of naps are needed to recover from all the other naps they've already taken!

Got a late start this year on a picture for our family christmas card. I setup the seamless (see setup image below) & took some shots of the kids. Takes a lot longer to setup than take the shot! I was trying to go for a catalog feel like Macy's or something. It was fun watching my kids try to pose. My son did a lot better than I thought! Happy Holidays everyone!
