Happy thanksgiving to birds, birders and my Flickr friends!! [The Turkey was considered the "Peacock of the Americas" and vied for the title of National Bird (losing out to the Bald Eagle). Turkeys seen at Corkscrew Swamp outskirts. 2nd image is a peacock displaying to a peahen at Jhalana Forest, Raj. for comparison]

This picture looks harder than it is because the word was soo long. I had to do it a couple times. By the 6th time, I was able to write the words faster and nicer.

Happy Caturday theme 10 April 2021 is "Owner's Choice" but, specifically, owner's choice of some detail of their cat, with an explanation about why. This little apricot shoulder dot (or perhaps it should be a white shoulder torus) is a lovely little detail that I have not had the best luck photographing, because if she wants to look at me, it gets crushed. Happily she was well situated while chowing down on some particularly nice wet food and I was able to capture it. (Had hoped to do so for Happy Caturday theme 20 Feb 2021, "Patterns and Paws", but struck out.) Really, Tikki is more of a Whole Composition than a detail, anyhow. Pepper however excels at the details.
