This is probably somewhere on my photostream, but it was first taken around 8 years ago.
It was in the public garden behind the church, which was a delightful place to sit. Sadly, it got taken over by drunks and the like and was completely spoilt. Now, no benches and no-one else using a lovely green spot.

Lately I've been spending most of my time outside either in the garden...or going for our 'daily walk'...close to home...keeping our distance! and making the most of this glorious weather...it's too nice to be sitting inside...
I hope you're all keeping well..and coping well... it's a strange time for all of us...but important to keep connected... and fortunately we have so many ways to do that...

Moonlit beach in Olowalu, Maui, Hawaii. Warm trade winds and an overhead moon helped to create this shot. Island of Kahoolawe on the horizon.
Mars is the bright object in the upper right above the constellation Sagittarius. The Milky Way is almost vertical and barely visible above the swaying palm trees.

Finally my laptop is working again.

Tomorrow 3/14 is Pi day in honor Pi (aka π) of course! π is defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference C to its diameter d. π is approximately 3.14159... It's decimal representation goes on forever, so irrational!
My husband and I have a special use for π . We multiply the time estimate for any task by π to get a more realistic estimate. So..if we think something will take an hour and we actually finish in less than 3.14159 hours we are happy. We call it "The rule of pi".
I actually stood on double yellow lines in between traffic to grab this shot. I cut out yellow paper to make the top part of the Pi symbol.
