Finally got my own Logo Hat and Hoody. Never too old to wear them. Being in my young 70's of age they are the new teenage years. national geographic Your Shot wouldn't post their Iconic log hat to my UK address so I made up my own Logo and here it is BjT (my initials) My Shot. Well if I couldn't have Your Shot I was going to have My Shot on my hat and hoody! oh and it was embroidered too by a UK company. Awesome gear!
My Mother has a birthday today! Happy Birthday!
We are many miles apart & this photo to me represents the closeness we share. Not a day hardly goes by that I don't speak with her on the phone. She views all my photo's but does not comment :-) I love you & have a wonderful Day!

Happy Caturday! Pepper is being a two-fisted 'nipper, here. The larger log is made by someone associated with Northwest Compounders, where I get Pepper's medicines - see www.northwestcompounders.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/D.... (Not sure if they can be ordered on-line). The almost invisible smaller toy upon which he is drooling is a Meowijuana(r) spliff.
Nothing makes Tinker happier than when someone plays with her and this string. She will wrap herself up in it and follow you around the house until you play with her with this string. She wasn't too happy at this point because I was taking her picture and not playing with her. Happy Caturday, everyone!

My traditional tartan, with lucky white heather & a small horseshoe (about 5cm wide). The horseshoe was made in 1924 by my great grandfather who was a blacksmith. Although I've always lived in England, it's at New Year that I miss my Scottish roots - I'll stay up to see the New Year in, but miss my dad who always did first footing.

Continuing this brief series of cool sights I saw on a single morning outing to Grasslands, the park at my doorstep. These two Moose with their calves were a surprise; I tend to see moose more often in fall and winter. And last year there was considerable noise and commotion as contractors built a new bridge across the Frenchman River - resulting in many wildlife species, including moose, steering clear of the area until things settled down.
But.. they're ba-ack!
I'm so happy. They add an extra touch of wildness to the prairie landscape. Twenty-four years ago, when I first spent some extended time hanging out in this place, moose were a rare sighting. In the interim, they have arrived to occupy the valley, and other prairie locations, too; biologists are not sure why.
My theory? They find ample food and shelter here, where there are no natural predators, no hunting, and an abundance of peace and quiet. Essentially these are the same reasons I moved here full time in 2011. I'd like to think I'm smarter than the average moose. But maybe I'm not.
