Grandma professionally told fortunes to earn extra cash but her hobby was to make beautiful , decorative objects with her hands and then gave them away to her friends as presents . A popular and well-liked figure among the village folks .

This image was captured in the 1980s using negative film and the print was recently scanned and photoshopped to make it presentable again .

All of the kids in 2nd grade stiched a gnome in handwork this year. Campbell came home with his today. I asked him if his gnome has a name and he said, "yeah. Tim. Like the guy in Monty Python."
