I'm taking a fabulous class which involves a lot of hand stitching and a wide variety of threads. Some people collect different threads like others collect fabric! The different displays of everyone's threads was beautiful for sure. For this shot, my camera was set at f1/8 and I focused on one spool of Perle Cotton, letting the others blend and meld together. cy365 335/365

Another of the handworked prints. This time it's me and Ali. It. maybe a personal thing but I feel quite interested in this process.

Something to do with connecting with the print...

This time is was scoured with a wire brush, scraped with a blunt knfe, rubbed wit toothpaste and the red was flicked on by nail varnish...Then scanned back in.

Prepare mosaic tesserae is a slow and long work which needs precision and patience.

Mustrit polnud, tegin internetist leitud foto järgi. Väidetavalt Türgist pärit muster.

I found picture of this lace from internet, but there was no pattern. I liked this so much that i decided to try it anyway. So i just did the lace without pattern. And this wasnt hard at all.
