There's just something about this color combination that makes me want to ... uh, eat! No, just kidding. But, I really enjoy the green, red, and yellow combo. Crafting 365/37
This is a yummy scented keychain made from felt.It measures at 6" from the keyring to the bell(the toast is 2-3/4" tall by 2-3/4 wide)The "crust" is a brown ribbon with a pink thread detail. It has safety eyes,a sewn smile, a cute little heart nose and a bell on the bottom of it.The scent is in a sachet that is placed inside the poly batting and should smell good for a while( I scented other plushies a year ago and they still smell good). The other side of this says "I love(heart) P.B..(there is a pic of it in my photostream). This is lightweight and would be cute clipped to your purse, belt loop, backpack or on a zipper. If you're interested in this and want to see more pics see my profile for a link:o)

Recently I got a book called Plush-o-rama from the library,it's about making plush creatures. My 3 youngest went through the book and picked their favorites and I made them for them(with some modifications). Chan wanted the Gremlin but I didn't have plush fabric so I used felt instead. I thought it was missing some flare so I added some felt flames to the front and back(like wings). This creature is partly filled with batting and some plastic beads so he can sit up on his own.The "hair" is metallic string that was looped and sewn in.There are more pics of him in my photostream:o)
This just might be my favorite basket. I love fabric. The lime green is so vibrant! Think I might have a fabric addiction :)

This pic is a close up of Cherry Blossom's obi pocket, the rest of this description is about the whole doll.
I started off making a doll head plushie for my daughter Sunee(pics is in my photostream) then realized it needed a body. After searching for kokeshi doll patterns and not finding anything that had a fabric body and a felt head,I just winged it and came up with this. Her head, hands, feet and obi pocket are made from felt. Her body is made from cotton fabric that is stuffed with poly batting. The whole doll is Cherry Blossom scented(it smells very fresh and clean). Her pigtails are made from black shiny cording with a cute Hello Kitty bow on each one.The next time I make one of these, I'll probably change a few things to make it easier to attach her head(it was a PAIN!).Anyhow my daughter likes her and waited patiently(for a 4 year old) til she was completed.I told my daughter that the doll's obi pocket can hold something small like a lost tooth (til the tooth fairy collects it and leaves a shiny coin) :o)
If you haven't used hand crocheted organic wash cloths yet, you're missing out. They not only wash great, but feel soft, and are durable. Not to mention being easier on the budget and environment.
These are ORGANIC cloths!
Bunny's aren't just for Easter, this one is for your rear view mirror...yes it's a little kitschy but definitely cute. This is the second rear view mirror decoration I've made. The 1st one was a Guinea Pig that I kept for my car and named Reggy. This is made from 2 different colors of fun fur,3 colors of felt, safety eyes and a pink safety nose.It has been lightly stuffed with poly batting. The bunny's accessories are a carrot,an apple, and a piece of lettuce which have a face on one side. The accessories hang below the bunny by a doubled piece of thread and they bounce around as you drive, like a mobile for adults (an "auto-mobile") ;o)

Recently I got a book called Plush-o-rama from the library about making plush creatures. My 3 youngest went through the book and picked their favorites and I made them for them(with some modifications).Sunee liked a creature called "greggles" but I thought it was a little too creepy for a 3 year old girl (it had sharp teeth and hairy eyes!)of course I changed some things. My modifications were:pink stripes, flower eyes, bows on her tentacles and a purple teddy bear.I usually handsew(I hate my sewing machine)but the front material is knit stretch so I HAD to use that beastly machine.I call the creature "lil sis" since she's more girly than the original pattern and is 1/2 the size of it. Sunee seems to love it,she takes it in the car when we go shopping.
How fun are these? They are hand crocheted washcloths curled up to look like cupcakes. I made these for a baby shower order.
Here's the pattern to make the washcloths - check back soon for instructions on how to make the washcloths into cupcakes. handmadebyannabelle.blogspot.com/2010/04/crochet-pattern-...
:)
I made this plushie for my daughter Sunee in Aug 2009.She's been asking me to make her something that was a "head with eyes and hair".I kinda made her to look like my daughter with her dark pigtails but my kids say that it looks like their aunt Ann(o'well). My supplies were: 30mm safety eyes, felt(colors:champagne, black, pink, and sparkly red),flower buttons(earrings),hello kitty ribbon, black twisted cord(pigtails),batting,Black embroidery floss(eyelashes) and of course thread. Also she has a Cherry Blossom scent added to her stuffing(I LOVE it,it smells so clean)
I've been thinking that this would be cute to make another one as a purse or a wall hanging(with a little silk ribbon loop on the back). We''ll see...so many ideas but only 2 hands:o)
This is the first boy Kimono Doll that I've made.I'd list him on etsy but my son is begging me for him and I don't want to break his heart:o( Each of these felt and fabric dolls are about 15" tall and filled with poly batting.
*update:My twins each got one of these for Christmas, they keep them on their shelf with their diecast cars
My niece will be getting this for her 6th birthday tomorrow.I tried really hard to complete this doll in 1 day but with the kids home for Thanksgiving break....that did not happen:o)
She is made from felt and fabric from my own pattern which I think I'm happy with now(I hate to say that because I'm a perfectionist and may want to keep tweaking it).The doll is bubblegum scented which goes well with her bubblegum color.I think she is my favorite so far:oD
see my photostream for other pics of her and my profile for a link to my shop

I made my first sculpted flower last week and now I think I'm addicted. I am having a lot of fun playing with them.

I've been wanting to make a Kokeshi Doll for a long time. After making one for my daughter I adjusted my pattern a little and finally came up with this. It's not exactly a Kokeshi but it's inspired by my favorite things on them. These are made with felt, fabric, safety eyes, ribbon, buttons, tassels, and poly batting. They each have an obi pocket(on the back) for little trinkets, notes or a lost tooth(they're big enough for a folded dollar to fit into). This version is lightly scented with an orange cream smell(yum!)..If you like her.see my profile for a link:o)
I made this to replace a stuffed dog that my son begged off of my niece(Alys) in Thailand 2 years ago.Princess Dotty will be on her way to meet Alys in October. She's a little scared since this will be her first flight but she will be comforted by her puppy siblings that are soon to be born(crafted) and given to other family members. She's so sweet and smells like baby powder.
She is made of: felt, safety eyes, safety nose, vinyl collar with grommets, gingham bow, poly stuffing, baby powder scent and lots of Love:o)
This is the LINUX penguin named TUX. My computer geek son wanted me to make this when I was learning to make softies from felt. The pattern was found on the internet( search linux tux plush pattern). I put p.e.pellets in the bottom to help it stay upright.
