I have been having so much fun making these this summer.I'd take my sewing basket with me when my husband would go fishing or when my son was in summer school I'd wait in the car and make these for 2 1/2 hours.I have a few more to make(I'm up to 23) then I'll decide what the heck to do with all these ice cream cones:o)I gave one to my daughter Sunee(modeling in the pic),she wears it on a piece of decorative cord as a necklace.I've made 2 for my nieces(they picked out what color felt,beads and ribbon they wanted on theirs),they might hook theirs to their backpacks when school starts.Some of the ice cream cones are fruit scented and the ones that have brown felt are scented like chocolate.Ahh....so many color combinations/scent choices;I'm a happy girl:o)
They are all finally "born"!! These were all handmade by me for an order.Four will go to college graduates and the other two to children (all of them live in Bangkok).They each have a Chew toy(except Princess Dottie the pink puppy). The puppies are all scented with a baby powder scent which makes them all the sweeter(and smells so clean).They will all meet their new owners in Oct(2009),I'm gonna miss them,they're so cute:o)
I'm definitely a fabric addict! No question about it. With leftover fabric, I make coiled baskets. This one was made for a customer who has a blue and yellow guest room.

This is Scarlet.She's the 5th puppy "born" and will be on her way to Bangkok in Oct(2009) to meet her new owner (a recent Chulalongkorn University Graduate).Scarlet has a felt body,safety eyes,safety nose,pvc collar,Princess dog charm,gingham bow,and a graduation bear to cuddle with.She is baby powder scented too!
iLio (means dog in Hawaiian),is a vibrant colored felt puppy.He is a true romantic and believes in love at first sight
He has big black and brown safety eyes and a black safety nose.His sewn on flowers,stars,leaves and palm trees match his tropical tie-dyed felt muzzle. iLio(pronounced ee-lee-you) is completely handsewn.All of his details on his forehead and down his back and tail were individually sewn on.His inner ears,tongue,cheeks and front paw pads are the same shade of bright pink. This kitty is about 3" wide X 2 1/2" tall.I made this just for fun.I might make it into a keychain but I will have to spray it with a fabric stiffener to prevent it from getting all fuzzy(darn that cheap felt !!)
Pink and blue are one of my favorite color combinations. So when I saw that this fabric had paisleys, I had to buy it.
BUT, I have so much trouble taking pictures of light colored objects. Should they have a dark background? Light background? Any help is appreciated.

I made this to replace a stuffed dog that my son begged off of my niece(Alys) in Thailand 2 years ago.Princess Dotty will be on her way to meet Alys in October. She's a little scared since this will be her first flight but she will be comforted by her puppy siblings that are soon to be born(crafted) and given to other family members.She's so sweet and smells like baby powder.
She is made of: felt,safety eyes,safety nose,vinyl collar with grommets,gingham bow,poly stuffing,baby powder scent and lots of Love:o)

My 4 felt pets. from left-right: iLio,Sgt.Cheddar,Lolita Bucky,and Shawn Mao.They are aprox 10" tall by 8" wide made from several colors of felt,fun fur,safety eyes and noses.These will be up for "adoption" ,see my profile for my shop link.My whole family loves these! In fact my daughter(4 years) thought I'd made these to keep and was crying when I told her that they would be "adopted".If I kept everything I made I'd have to rent a storage unit;o)
This pic is a close up of a paper quilling order that I completed Oct 12,2008.A friend ordered this for her 2 month old niece for Christmas. See my photostream to view this completed order which took me aprox 20 hours to finish.
This is a yummy scented keychain made from felt.It measures at 6" from the keyring to the bell(the toast is 2-3/4" tall by 2-3/4 wide)The "crust" is a brown ribbon with a pink thread detail.On the front side,( pics in my photostream)it has safety eyes,a sewn smile, a cute little heart nose and a bell on the bottom of it.The scent is in a sachet that is placed inside the poly batting and should smell good for a while( I scented other plushies a year ago and they still smell good).This pic is the backside side of it, "I love(heart) P.B"...This is lightweight and would be cute clipped to your purse,belt loop,backpack or on a zipper.If you're interested in this and want to see more pics see my profile for a link:o)

After working with the pattern on my own bag... I nabbed this fab teal & black elvis fabric from my stash & whipped this up for one of my best crafty friends!

The blue puppy was just "born" last night.It was ordered by my sister-n-law who will take him to Thailand and give him to his new owner who is a recent college grad(that's why the puppy is chewing on a bear with a graduation cap). The puppy was also personalized with the name of his new owner(I hope they don't look at my flickr pics!) There will be a total of 6 puppies in this "litter"...2 down and 4 more to be born in the next week..Oh,another thing, he is scented like baby powder.

This keychain/purse charm is made from felt and is Lavender scented.It's aprox 3"X4".I had a picture of this in my head when I went to bed and had to draw it exactly as I imagined it so I wouldn't forget when I woke up.The next day I second guessed my color choices and almost changed it but I'm glad I didn't because I really like how this turned out.I gave it to a friend but plan on making more, maybe different colors and scents too.

Been taking so many photos of the bunny lately that I haven't been focusing on my crafting. I'm getting ready for a craft show coming up next month. Hope it's fun!
