Isaiah 59:10 “We grope like the blind upon the wall, we grope even as one that hath none eyes. We stumble at the noonday, as though it were toward night; in the falling places, like men that are half dead.”
Since I am unable to replenish my Yosemite photos, here is a different view of Half Dome, taken from the Mirror Lake Trail. It brings to mind an old Chinese scroll, thanks to some techniques discovered while playing around with Lightroom and Photoshop.

Sometimes one has to turn an image "on its head", in this case a quarter-turn, to take a closer look at all the detail we might otherwise miss in a cursory glance. This is one half of the mast system on the Kaiwo Maru, a tall ship that visited Steveston (Richmond BC) May 5-7, 2017.
To see others' superb photos of the Kaiwo Maru during the 3 day
tall ship festival in Steveston--including the sailors up on the masts unfurling the sails--please go to this Gallery I created: www.flickr.com/photos/130881643@N04/galleries/72157681555...
