Between innings and to ramp up the excitement of the forthcoming run chase we were entertained by this fire and light show.

Yosemite National Park is spectacular; for me, Half Dome is its most beautiful feature. It is seen here with the Merced River.
Or is it half-empty?
A little shot glass with water.
Combined with a single light beam in darkness it created lovely shadows and colors.
A window on one of the beautiful old buildings at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Although damaged, it is still beautiful.
Zoey is so tiny... maybe 4lbs. She's a big dog packed in a little dog body. She's smart, athletic, adorable, affectionate and a killer poser. All around... the perfect dog!
It's grainy but I'll take whatever I can get, moon-wise; especially since I was finally able to "get" the actual color I see in real life. :)

You know when you feel really miserable but you don’t know why, and you’re having one of those days when just about everything gets on your nerves? Maybe it’s because I spent half the morning on the phone to Sky having to upgrade my wifi and Sky box, grrrr. And maybe it’s the menopause and I’m just a grumpy cow these days. 🤔 But then you take your dog for a walk and you come home feeling really happy and like everything in the world is rosy again. That!
It’s really hard to be miserable for long when you own a Weimaraner.

Well... I returned home yesterday afternoon from a wonderful holiday... exploring the Provence region of southern France.
The essence of Provence is encapsulated by the delicate fragrance and colourful hues of the lavender plant... which is in full bloom from late June to mid-August. Two of the main areas of lavender cultivation are the Plateau de Sault and the Plateau de Valensole... where I captured this five-image panorama.
Although the main focus of my trip to Provence was to photograph the flowering lavender fields... I also captured loads of images of vineyards, quaint villages and other iconic scenery.

Good thing that my wife took this photo with her phone as I didn't have my camera set up correctly. We saw a deer down by the riverbank of the Merced depicted in this photo. Hopefully, we 'll go back this coming Spring when the weather gets warmer. I have heard Mono County received some snow just yesterday.
This is my favorite Half Dome shot I took. Much better quality than the pano :O
PS I'm not sure about the map location
Half Dome in Winter is a sight to behold. We arrived in Yosemite as the snow was coming down pretty thick covering everything in white. The next morning after sunrise we hiked through the trees and came across this incredible scene with a reflection of Half Dome in the Merced River. Don't you love Yosemite with a little snow?
