The other half of the Cardinal pair that I was photographing a few days ago. I tried to get them both in the same frame, but that only happens when you leave the camera at home.
Taken last summer. I arrived in the park about an hour before sunset and managed to find a spot to watch the golden light climb up the side of Half Dome moments before the sun vanished.
I only had to airbrush... a few people out

With temperatures in double figures here today in West Yorkshire, I've dug into last winter's images again!

Well, more like a third and two-thirds! In the wonderful Oceanário de Lisboa.... One of largest indoor aquariums in Europe.
This building, located in the High Street at Lavenham in Suffolk appears to be very old but I have not been able to find any information about it.
The village of Lavenham was one of the richest in England during medieval times and local merchants became very wealthy from the wool trade. Their wealth was reflected in the houses they built and many of them still exist to this day and are protected from demolition or major changes by the law. The High Street has quite possibly one of biggest concentration of listed buildings of any village in England.

Under a hay barn overhang in the old part of town this truck called out to me with my name on the passenger window. So I stopped and took a photo of it. I love shadows like that anyway.
