Another road trip; another old building in a small town. And Zenith...well, take your pick on the various meanings.

Salt wind in my head, over my eyes
like cold hands;
and oh, from the disturbed air comes
another wind, another sea, a still
sky, a different sky...

I take pictures because I like it, not because I am good at it.

When I'm on my way home from home-home I pass this chapel.
I always wanted to have a closer look but somehow it took me many years to actually do it.
Apparently it's really old (from around 1605) and one of the few half-timbered chapels that have survived from before the Thirty Years' War.
Yosemite National Park is an amazing place for landscape photography. On this day it was raining and overcast until the last little bit of light in the evening.
Thanks for stopping by
Mark 9:47 “Or if your eye should cause you to sin, tear it out. It would be better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God half-blind than remain in possession of two eyes and be thrown into hell.”
My friend: Jesse inspired me to start collecting half dolls
They are so beautiful and I decided to learn more about them. That's how I came across several half-dolls on Flickr, including those belonging to friends of Jesse's who were also inspired by him, and I became more and more enthusiastic.

It will be Pierrette’s final performance.
She has appeared on stage in the theatre alongside Pierrot countless times.
To receive one last round of applause from the audience
To take one final bow to the audience
And then, after 1,735 performances, it will all be over and everyone will go their separate ways… or… will they retreat together, sitting on the crescent of the moon??

The Rakotz Bridge in Kromlau Park is famous for its perfect reflection: The stone semicircle of the bridge and its mirrored image in the water form what appears to be a complete circle – a symbol of harmony and symmetry.
This photograph captures that very moment: Half made of stone, half made of reflection – yet it appears as one seamless whole.
Nature and architecture merge into a magical illusion.
