Dad was in New York trying to find work and mom left me with my aunt and uncle so she could keep an eye on him.

For some reason (was it the theme, guys? Or that it was Folsom Street weekend? Or at an odd time of year? Help me out here.) a good number of the guests came in non-fancy pants. Still, we love them for the fun they add to the party.

This guy ranted for like 2 hours on the top of the volcano Santa Maria. Awesome religious rant, super intense yelling till he went horse, five mintues straight of "dios dios dios'" when he ran out of breath and adjectives for him. Felt close to god on the top of a semi-active volcano watching another one erupt. Film
This guy showed up during the recent snow storms, he figured out how to get in the back yard so he was relatively easy to trap.
These - custard tarts, or Natas - are *DIVINE* - but sadly, I had a pie, with more calories than even I can imagine. Therefore no dessert tart for me. Hence my girl holding the lone tart.
I did get one of his quarter pie tasters - he is generous with the tasting portions!!! And he is a nice, nice guy, and he remembered my girl from 3 weeks ago. Probably because she's one of the more exotic, non-British looking women in the place. Nice scarf ...
