Today I went trough some older photos and found this. It looks very similar to this one, but I like it.
I was looking for this 9" Universal Monsters Care Bear for over a month. Everywhere seemed to be sold out. You know there was the usual markup of resellers (around $25 and up).
Grumpy is my favorite, so him as Frankenstein was a must for me. Walmart had 2 in stock. I managed to get one for retail 😄

This is the final version of the "Grumpy Butler" piece, hanging happily in the sunlight by the doorway of it's even happier new owner. This one was so much more work than I imagined it would be when I started, but it was a good experience and I learned a lot.
You know, I feed these guys every day and build them houses and provide cover and all that. Still, they always seem to give me that, "What the heck are you doing here" sort of look
This one also has a "Why do you always blame me for the hole in XYZ?" sort of look. He's usually guilty.

It means being in a slightly angry mood because you are annoyed at something, it also means easily annoyed and complaining, that they are bad-tempered and miserable.
Taken at a garden centre, there was a BBC program called 'Grumpy Old Men'???
Sadly they are all around us, faces drawn, not a smile in sight.

Do I look grumpy in this pic? I'm actually not. I AM however, hot, tired and sweaty! I just spent the last 2 afternoons landscaping the bed in front of my house. I must be out of my mind - it's 90 Degrees out there! Anyway, I weed whacked, trimmed bushes (missed the one I'm kneeling next too - so sue me), layed weed barrier fabric, put in a border and spread mulch! So even if you really could care less, THIS is what you're getting for a 365 photo today people. Stick a fork in me - I'm DONE! Oh wait, no I'm not, I still have to cook dinner... sigh
