Calliope was not particularly excited to be on the tractor. Laura helped making matching grumpy faces.

This was about thirty seconds before a woman stupidly let her little kid run up to the dog unattended while the owner was turned away. A very large noise ensued that suggested this dog would easily eat a toddler if it were so inclined.
Toads strike me as very grumpy-looking creatures. There were plenty of bugs around for this one to eat, as well as a huge rhubarb plant to hide under. But that wasn't enough to put a smile on his face... :)
