Grumpy Monkey

I went to the state fair and was so busy eating fried crap I only took two pictures. We had a hard time finding the seed art this year, but it was totally worth it.

Today I went trough some older photos and found this. It looks very similar to this one, but I like it.

I was looking for this 9" Universal Monsters Care Bear for over a month. Everywhere seemed to be sold out. You know there was the usual markup of resellers (around $25 and up).

Grumpy is my favorite, so him as Frankenstein was a must for me. Walmart had 2 in stock. I managed to get one for retail 😄

This is the final version of the "Grumpy Butler" piece, hanging happily in the sunlight by the doorway of it's even happier new owner. This one was so much more work than I imagined it would be when I started, but it was a good experience and I learned a lot.

On August 23rd 2008 the Seattle Monorail broke down (again). My Mom and I happened to be downtown a few blocks away, so we walked over to get shots of the action. I believe there are 65 photos altogether. It also includes some candids because there were lots of interesting people around to get pictures of. Will add more detailed individual photo descriptions later.
