Grumpy is a banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum). He was illegally taken from wild in Arizona in 1997 and brought to Idaho. I'm very lucky to be able to care for him. www.EcoSnake.com Photo by Frank

This is a grumpy face I finished up this evening. I expect it will work best as a "Do Not Enter" sign :)
Kids make flags on our New Year Flag day, too. They often crack me up (Bun Bun Abel Bun comes to mind.). This year Grumpy Cat made an appearance.
(The week before, the boy who made this flag had made his own protest poster that featured three grumpy cats. He also brought his own grumpy cat to both events.)
In the Fjölskyldu- og húsdýragarðsins (a children's park and zoo in the middle of Laugardalur, ReykjavÃk) you will find a lot of Icelandic animals like this grumpy old man.
This guy didn't look to happy, but who would be if you were stuck in pen all your life. This was at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and as far as facilities for animals go it doesn't get much better.

A little bit different for normal Grumpy, hah? but still can be recognized. He is usually described as long beard, red tunic, brown hat, scowl.
You won't beleive what it reads on the back of the photo "HAPPY SNAPS" LOL. This was taken in Guernsey 1951.
Why so grouchy? If you keep wrinkling your face like that, it'll stay that way forever...

working notes: I waited too long to start this and now short sleeves don't quite seem appropriate. So, trying to mix views and do view B with the long sleeves from view C/D. Hopefully that works!
Oh, and I just got my serger back from the repair shop and it is working wonderfully! I'm using it for as many internal seams as I can.
