This poppy just caught my eye as it looked at me with this grumpy face!
Once open these poppies are stunningly beautiful.
grumpy and his new friend (they met at the BMA and it turns out that montgomery needed a home so we decided to adopt him) hanging out at the olive garden... they sat on the little ledge and talked while m and i ate our lunch... they're so cute
sharing one more picture of him and Frank explaining how a component of Gila monster venom has been synthesized for use as a treatment for type II diabetes. "Grumpy" is a Banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum). Gila monsters are native to the southwestern United States. Photo by Kyle
I heard the other day how much these cost each - well into three figures. However much I love them I think I will save my pennies for camera gear!
Although in a lot less pain than the previous day my mouth was still hurting and affecting my ability to eat. This made me grumpy.
By lunchtime I was in such a fowl mood that I decided my grumpiness should be shared and so I popped over to Wales to see Andy.
Luckily, (for him he was still working when I arrived so I had a wander around the local area with my camera.
This bird was exceedingly grumpy! (It doesn't look too moody at a distance, but the closer you look, the grumpier it gets.) Oh yeah, if you look at it at the original size, this is a crop at 1x1 ratio directly from the camera... It was nicely sharp.
Ok, so I don't know what this tortoise is called but it had walked up to a bridge in the forest and didn't know what to do after that. Looked might grumpy & pissed I say!
There are many old wives tales around turtles & tortoises but they seem to have an uncanny knack of having the last laugh!
They have been around since the dinosaurs! Survived a couple of ice ages & now even humans. Now thats something!
grumpy and buttercreme taking a nice warm bath, they sure do enjoy it :)
you can see my dragoons in the back.
Decided to get out of the house and go or a drive. Headed to the small town of Mt. Horeb, about 25 miles away. Stopped at their brew pub - the Grumpy Troll - for a pint. About 10 minutes later my good friend and his family unexpectedly walked in the same place. It was an extremely strange but wonderful coincidence.

Där går det att läsa dem som en serie-strip.
He's actually a very very nice guy, but after we completed the 2007 Urban Golf Championship he got a trophy for being the oldest player.
Needless to say - he was not amused!

Journalling reads: I was so excited about your 1st Halloween, because this was the first time I had been able to buy cute little halloween outfits. Lukas and Leo were both too tiny to buy anything for, even though you were not much difference in weight to Lukas you were a lot longer. You ended up with quite a few different outfits to choose from because I was spolit for choice and couldn't decide on just one. Halloween turned into a whole weekend event this year, thanks to our Merlin Annual passes. We did Legoland first for the last night of their Indiana Jones Fireworks. Then we went home and got up early the next morning and travelled to Chessington World Of Adventures for their Halloween Hocus Pocus event and stayed the night in the onsite hotel. Then we got up the next morning packed everything up and after a quick trip into Chessington to use up our photo pass we headed off to Thorpe Park for the last day of the season. Now I need to explain the photograph, on our way to Legoland on the first day I decided to take a photograph of you dressed in your cute pumpkin outfit to send to Nan , you were sitting in your carseat perfectly content and happy until I put the little pumpkin hat on your head, then you had a complete meltdown and started screaming your head off in the middle of the train station. I even had to lift you out of the carseat and cuddle you to calm you down. I don't think anyone would have believed me if I had told them all that screeching was over a hat!
