fish are unhappy a lot of the time because they've never been been to a theme park and theme parks are fun
What makes Bluebirds look grumpy is the little tuft of feathers over the front of the eye that makes them look like they are scowling - that, and the fact that they are usually pissed off about something. This guy brought the flock in for some mealworms this morning and got pretty unhappy whenever any other birds came near the feeder. People that think Bluebirds are timid have never seen this guy in action. He has no problem going after the Red-bellied Woodpeckers - Even the Blue Jays won't do that!
I was cleaning the shed for the winter and the Bluebirds figured that there must be a few dried mealworms in there somewhere. A little pestering paid off for them.

I'm not being grumpy, I just look it. Honest.
This is the grumpy visiting cat in our neighbourhood, we don't see it very often but he always makes for our house when we are feeding Monkeycat..he is a very damaged old cat..with beaten up ears and what is left of his tail is twisted..
For some of these groups grumpiness seems to be part of the tradition. Supposedly they are still nice people, though.
At Tim Horton's, there's this old guy working. I would comfortable say that he is in his mid 70's if not 80's. He's a hard working racist in my humble opinion.
Whenever I ask how his day went or show the slightest bit of concern, he responds by saying "what can I get for you...........?" I've been observing his behavior while pretending to get some educational assesment-type work done and I came to the conclusion that he hates all that is different. His attitude is mostly directed towards people of Asian ethnicity, East-Indian ethnicity, and most blunt and obviously, Middle-Eastern ethnicity. Even when
As I was working on my laptop and listening to Mohammed Abdo, he would rudely and noisily push the chairs around to clean under them.
One of the people that work there told me how rude he was and that the reason behind his "Mr. Happy" name tag is his grumpiness towards most people. It's not most people, it's different people. Instead of getting rid of him, they made him work the graveyard shift. I think the only reason he's still around because he's the only person I've seen work that wasn't hesitant about cleaning the bathroom. Shame on you management.
Every time I see him I treat him better and he refuses to budge. We'll see who snaps first.
