「ノエルの贈り物」展は 3.11 をきっかけにスタートしたチャリティー展です。アーティストによる版画、コラージュ、ドローイングなどのオリジナルカードや小さな作品を販売し、子どもたちの保養・検診費支援を行っている「未来の福島こども基金に寄附しています。
約２年に渡るコロナ禍で、日本の子どもたちの貧困率が
7 人に 1 人とさらに上昇しているとのことから、子どもたちへの直接支援、政策提言、研究会 などを行なっている「あすのば」へも売上げの30% からそれぞれ寄付することにしました。微力ながら多くの方に応援いただけたら嬉しいです。

Maritza Mosquera is an artist, educator and community-transformation partner. She has developed, organized, and presented new practices in arts education and artist-led community collaborations with several local, national and international organizations.
As an educator, Mosquera’s practice is focused on the individual learner and their place in the larger scope of community. Maritza has created in-school and out-of-school time arts programs for over 30 years. Past organizations include Chicago Arts Partners in Education, Finding History in Ourselves, Dialogues for Democracy, and the Bioneers. In addition, Maritza has partnered with and taught in various schools and universities across the country including University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, The Fabric Workshop, Perspectives and Noble Academies, Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School, Frick International Academy, and Schenley High Schools.
Most recently, Maritza has collaborated with choreographer Kyle Abraham to develop community engagement programs for his new works, curating, presenting dialogue programs for the year-long Word of God exhibition at The Andy Warhol Museum, and teaching art through Pittsburgh_Filmmakers Center for the Arts and the PA Council on the Arts.
Mosquera exhibits her own work nationally and internationally and has received grants from the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, The National Endowments for the Arts, The Ford Foundation, and The Multi-Cultural Arts Initiative from the Pittsburgh Foundation. She received her MFA from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore. She studied with Agnes Martin and Joseph Campbell at Skowhegan School of Painting in Maine- noting this as the beginning of her ever reaching movement towards the truth and rigor in her art and life.

Brett's project We'll Leave The Light On For Ya showcases a basement located in a Columbia University building in Harlem that has a thrilling labyrinth of rooms filled with ancient electronic equipment, decades of old trash, and a strange assemblage of odds and ends, like something out of an old science fiction film. In reality it did have a history of wild science experiments gone deathly wrong: it was one of the original sites of the Manhattan Project, the operation that developed the atomic bomb. For over 25 years, the Print Gocco screen-printing system has been used in Japan. The small plastic device is a self contained screen printing set-up, consisting of an exposure unit, pre-coated screens and inks. Originally marketed for making greeting cards and sold in toy stores, appreciation for the Gocco system has grown amongst artists who cannot afford, or don’t have the space for a traditional screen-printing equipment.
We feel that the accessibility of Print Gocco reflects our own DIY ethos in running a gallery, and so have chosen to celebrate our Fifth anniversary with a group show of Gocco based artwork. To accompany the exhibition, we will be releasing a portfolio of Gocco prints, produced in a signed and numbered edition of 50, collected in a custom made presentation box.
We’ve selected artists who look beyond the limitations of the device, to show that it can also be used to produce fine art works. Those involved are from a range of disciplines; textile design, fine art, illustration, graphic design, and animation.
