Heinrich Christian Wilhelm Busch was a German humorist, poet, illustrator and painter. He published comic illustrated cautionary tales from 1859, achieving his most notable works in the 1870s. Busch's illustrations used wood engraving, and later, zincography.
Busch drew on contemporary parochial and city life, satirizing Catholicism, Philistinism, strict religious morality and bigotry. His comic text was colourful and entertaining, using onomatopoeia, neologisms and other figures of speech, and led to some work being banned by the authorities.
Busch was influential in both poetry and illustration, and became a source for future generations of comic artists. The Katzenjammer Kids was inspired by Busch's Max and Moritz, one of a number of imitations produced in Germany and the United States. The Wilhelm Busch Prize and the Wilhelm Busch Museum help maintain his legacy. His 175th anniversary in 2007 was celebrated throughout Germany. Busch remains one of the most influential poets and artists in Western Europe

Schon seit den 1870er Jahren in ganz Deutschland berühmt, galt er bei seinem Tod dank seiner äußerst volkstümlichen Bildergeschichten als „Klassiker des deutschen Humors“. Als Pionier des Comics schuf er u. a. Max und Moritz, Die fromme Helene, Plisch und Plum, Hans Huckebein, der Unglücksrabe, die Knopp-Trilogie und weitere, bis heute populäre Werke. Oft griff er darin satirisch die Eigenschaften bestimmter Typen oder Gesellschaftsgruppen auf, etwa die Selbstzufriedenheit und Doppelmoral des Spießbürgers oder die Frömmelei von Geistlichen und Laien. Viele seiner Zweizeiler sind im Deutschen zu festen Redewendungen geworden, z. B. „Vater werden ist nicht schwer, Vater sein dagegen sehr“ oder „Dieses war der erste Streich, doch der zweite folgt sogleich“.

Cette plante rampante a de longues feuilles vertes portées par des tiges vigoureuses et épaisses qui peuvent couvrir plusieurs mètres carrés en quelques années. Aujourd'hui, elle est considérée comme une plante invasive qui nuit à la biodiversité. Très utilisées en couvre-sol, les fleurs ont la disposition de celles des marguerites, sauf que les pétales sont colorés. Par ailleurs, ces fleurs ont la particularité de se fermer une fois la nuit tombée.
La griffe de sorcière (Carpobrotus edulis), aussi communément appelée figue marine, doigt de sorcière, figuier des hottentots ou ficoïde comestible, est une plante de la famille des succulentes originaire d’Afrique du Sud, qui a été introduite en Europe dans le courant du vingtième siècle et que l’on rencontre surtout au bord de la mer comme sur l’île de Beauté par exemple, ou dans le Pays basque.
En forme de figue, ses fruits très charnus sont comestibles et sont très appréciés en confiture, de par leur goût légèrement acidulé. Quant à ses feuilles allongées triangulaires vert-gris, elles auraient des vertus anti-inflammatoires, ainsi qu’antiseptiques. En outre, dans son pays d’origine, les feuilles de la figue marine sont prescrites en gargarisme en cas d’aphtes ou de maux de gorge.

We enjoyed our gig at the Roundhouse London. Griff was the main act but her support Cxloe wasn't too bad too. Cxloe is on the left, Griff on the right.

Her musical style incorporates genres such as pop, electropop, and dark pop.
