I usually set my cast iron on the stove to dry. I had 3 pots and pans on the stove, so I decided to snap a photo. Brian suggested that I get out the whole collection. I love cast iron. It is so hard to break.
I really like this one. Simple but also different than what you usually see for breakfast/brunch. The potatoes were nice and moist and the fried chicken was also really good, despite it not being of the deep fried variety. I also enjoyed thinking that a piece of potato was on my fork, only to find out that it was chicken. Nice surprise.
Curious to check Roost out for dinner and I enjoyed the breakfast and the atmosphere in there. For what it's worth, there was no wait and a lot of open tables, too.
Stove in steel with white fronts. Two ovens, two drawers, EIGHT burners, a griddle, controls...what more could you want!

I bought this because I can't resist an open can, but the cooking thingy (no idea what it's called) is very cool, & I love the tiny spoon with the filling on it, & the plate is gorgeous. I may another set just to get another plate.
