We went to The Griddle Cafe (http://www.thegriddlecafe.com/) in West Hollywood the next day for my birthday brunch where Jodi, the owner, fixed up some non-menu Red Velvet PanCAKES for us. Gerry finally got the proper temperature on the griddle for baking off the tortillas after I screwed up 3 batches on the fire. (thank goodness for gas stoves)

So we were able to have tasty and fresh corn tortillas on the island. (I love corn tortillas, flour tortillas not so much)

I like frying bacon, but it makes a mess...so I put the griddle on the grill and started cooking. It was the best bacon ever, and no mess!
