We just got a panini press and Leah's grilled cheese sandwich was the first experiment. To make a long story short, we all had grilled things of various designs for dinner.
6. Plop it on your electric griddle set to ~180*. (I devised this recipe while working for a supermarket where we had all the ingredients but no way to cook it..we had 160* hot plates on the food wrapping machines so we used those..) Alternatively, you can put it on a frying pan over Medium-Low heat, or on the grill over a low flame. Im tempted to try to put this on the intake manifold on my car at the beginning of a road trip..I have a feeling it'd work.
One day we had breakfast at The Griddle. They had some of the biggest pancakes I ave ever seen...I tasted them...they were good!

Griddled asparagus, zucchini and Halloumi cheese plus roasted cherry tomatoes. Together with a basil dressing this is my attempt at a salad by Yotam Ottolenghi (from The Cookbook)
This also owes inspiration to Robert Freson, a photographer who produced some very beautiful books about food in Italy and France during the 1980s. Unlike much food photography his pictures often show the ingredients of the dishes as pictures in their own right rather than just as instructions. They are also taken in natural light.
