a very wet and windy, early spring morning. on the crumhaughill road, about a 1000ft up on top of a hill between haysike and the west end of the town, very glad when i got home, 3miles further down the road. hawick, scottish borders, scotland.

We followed this truck all the way back to Oberon, we were heading home, after been in Bathurst this afternoon.

A man and his dog strolling down a country lane at Thorpe, Teesdale. Late autumn colours, strong sunshine and a very dark sky make a dramatic scene.

the raging river teviot after a night and day of intense rain and storm force winds, floods the football pitch, and rugby pitch at lower mansfield. the normal width of the river is between the fence and the trees on the other side, well they will build things on natures flood plains, as viewed from the weensland side of the river. hawick, scottish borders, scotland.

Patchy sunshine and shadows on Marshes Gill Farm, Harwood. A meadow full of flowering buttercups in front of the farmhouse is lit nicely but dark clouds threaten heavy showers to come.

Here is a sulphur crested cockatoo take off and heading who knows were.

These two were just sitting in the tree admiring the view.

This is what this morning looked like, although it did lighten up a bit while I was out. Or before it went as black as the ace of spades. Then we had a downpour.

The car owner had just got into it when I aimed for a photo, so I waited for her to move off, the engine was running, before I took the photo. In the meantime, she answered her mobile phone - I hadn't got all day, so I included the car!

On a grey old day. These Sulphur- crested-cockatoos were flying around like mad and squawking there heads off as they flew over.

We just got the green light to turn right, back onto the great Western Highway in Bathurst so I quickly too this shot.

A patch of bright sunshine through a small break in a wintry sky lights up Cronkley Fell and Scar. Taken from Middle Side two days after a heavy snowfall now thawing out and leaving a patchwork winter landscape.

Here is a shot I captured, while we were stopped at the traffic lights in Blackheath NSW.

Corrour, Scotland, UK - September 26, 2017: The "Deerstalker" train, part of the Caledonian Sleeper, is hauled across the vast peat bog wilderness of Rannoch Moor near Corrour in the Highlands of Scotland early in the morning.

Flynas have currently leased 2 A330 aircraft from HiFly to operate the new UK/Malaysian services.

Nice to see a bit of colour at Gatwick!

Aircraft was built in 1996 and carried the test reg. F-WWKO. It was delivered to LTU as D-AERQ on 27-2-1996. Later to Air Berlin in February 2008.

HiFly took delivery as CS-TRI on 15-2-2013 and have leased to it to various airlines, including XL Airways France, Atlas Jet and now Flynas.

A very strong but equally brief sunny interval paints the upper dale landscape, but a wild sky heralds another power shower on the way. Taken from Stable Edge above Newbiggin on an extremely blustery early autmn morning.

As I walked past, I couldn't resist and had to get a shot.

This Jet star had just taken off and it was heading off to its destination, who knows where was.
