a very wet and windy, early spring morning. on the crumhaughill road, about a 1000ft up on top of a hill between haysike and the west end of the town, very glad when i got home, 3miles further down the road. hawick, scottish borders, scotland.
We followed this truck all the way back to Oberon, we were heading home, after been in Bathurst this afternoon.

Patchy sunshine and shadows on Marshes Gill Farm, Harwood. A meadow full of flowering buttercups in front of the farmhouse is lit nicely but dark clouds threaten heavy showers to come.
This is what this morning looked like, although it did lighten up a bit while I was out. Or before it went as black as the ace of spades. Then we had a downpour.
The car owner had just got into it when I aimed for a photo, so I waited for her to move off, the engine was running, before I took the photo. In the meantime, she answered her mobile phone - I hadn't got all day, so I included the car!

Snaisgill lit by a patch of bright sunshine moving down the Hudeshope, as seen from Aukside.
On a grey old day. These Sulphur- crested-cockatoos were flying around like mad and squawking there heads off as they flew over.
belted galloway cattle, dining on the glebe. on a bright summers day, with the 100ft malcolm monument on top of the 1,162ft high whita hill, and langholm golf course in the background. and the town down in the valley below, at the start of the wauchope valley, with warbla, (warblaw hill) and the recent clear felled gaskells on the right, at the becks. langholm, dumfriesshire, scotland. We just got the green light to turn right, back onto the great Western Highway in Bathurst so I quickly too this shot.

Corrour, Scotland, UK - September 26, 2017: The "Deerstalker" train, part of the Caledonian Sleeper, is hauled across the vast peat bog wilderness of Rannoch Moor near Corrour in the Highlands of Scotland early in the morning.

Aircraft was built in 1996 and carried the test reg. F-WWKO. It was delivered to LTU as D-AERQ on 27-2-1996. Later to Air Berlin in February 2008.
HiFly took delivery as CS-TRI on 15-2-2013 and have leased to it to various airlines, including XL Airways France, Atlas Jet and now Flynas.
