Very turbulent sky above Lincolnshire on 12th June 2016. After a morning of just blanket grey, the clouds were suddenly whisked about and the whole sky came alive and rolled along like this for as far as you could see from left to right. The rain that followed was very intense - although very patchy. Some villages were awash with rain while a two minute drive down the road and there wasn't any sign of the rain.

The last few days I have been hearing and seeing the yellow-tailed Black cockatoo flying over head, and sadly I didn't have my camera on hand. So I went out side around 6:30 pm after dinner and waited for them to pass, sadly the sky was pretty grey and dole, and the lightning was getting pretty poorly,Then all of sudden I heard one coming and this was the end result. you can see it's beak open it was making it;s lovely sound as it flew over. you may need to zoom in a little. It turned out more like a Silhouette, I hope next time the sun is shining and it's better lightning!
