Barnard Castle town and the River Tees as seen from The Lendings. Watery winter sunshine provides some foreground brightness under a rather stormy looking sky in the aftermath of Storm Darragh the previous day.

A grey, pre-sunset sky, the sun playing peek-a-boo but mostly hiding. Spring has not yet sprung. The temperature keeps shifting back to the colder side. Looking for any signs of emerging Springtime, it was still lovely looking at this grey, cloudy sky, wondering if the sun would break through and brighten things up.

I know that one day I will look out and things will be popping and it will feel like it was all of a sudden even after this long wait.
