Found our way to this deserted shoreline on the Island of Assateague. One of the strangest areas ever.
What you don't see is our finding of a rather large amount of dead and decaying creatures, some on the shoreline, some further inland; some looked unrecognizable even in pre-decay; like they were some kind of experiment.
There was also this giant satellite type dish and other industrial objects pointing skyward....Seriously....this was like nothing we ever saw and needless to say we didn't stay long. Creepy.

For The Weekly Alphabet Challenge - G for gradient.
I didn't enjoy this challenge as I couldn't think what to do for it. So in my usual last minute panic, I went into the town centre and climbed to the top of the hill...now this is a very brave thing for me to do as I'm terrified of heights...and took some photos looking down, even though I wanted to close my eyes and I was very wobbly! It's a miserable grey, wet day and the photos aren't wonderful so I have resorted to HDR and this is the result.
