Our Dam here in Oberon NSW Australia was letting out the over flow of water, the dam is so full because of all the rain we have had lately.

Another gloomy day in Oberon, rain all morning it stop for a little while and started all over again.
This was captured as we were driving down Mount Victoria pass on the great western highway as we were heading home.

I had just crossed the road, and this cute young magpie decide to fly up into the tree to get away from me.
Here is one of the Wattiebirds, having a little explore around my TV Antenna, while mum and dad watched closed by. I have heard them for days and finally today I saw them. This is there third lot of chicks.

I had just finished up feeding my backyard birds and I heard this sound. A few houses down from us, their were cut the tree.

A case of being lucky enough to be in exactly the right place at the right time. Looking into Lunedale from Whistle Crag, a small hole appeared in the ominous-looking cloud cover and created a shaft of strong sunshine exactly onto Grassholme Dam.

Blink and you'll miss it! This burst of sunshine lasted about 5 seconds and lit up this mature Rowan covered in vivid red berries. Revelin Farm, Newbiggin, Teesdale in the background.

I had just put seed out, and the Sulphur-Crested-Cockatoos and Galahs just come out of no where. I think they were hiding in trees waiting for me, to put the seed out.

the river teviot, in a small winter spate. flows over the submerged cobble cauld, with it's salmon ladder out in the middle, the buldings in the background. apart from the baronial type tower, have now been almost demolished, another part of the grey auld toon gone. hawick, scottish borders, scotland.

Heavy overnight rain has swollen the River Tees as it comes over the hosreshoe shaped cascade just above the main Low Force waterfall. Taken from the Pennine Way long distance footpath which runs past this spot.
It sure is a big difference compared to last Saturday, when it was crowed with people coming here to see the snow. Today was a lot more quieter and not to busy.
