Op dit eilandje ligt Leonora van Barchem (ook Eleonore/Elonora genoemd) begraven. Dit is te zien aan het monumentje in het midden met opschrit 'Leonora 1353'. De steen zou herinneren aan Vrouwe Leonora, die volgens de legende in 1353 uit liefdesverdriet op 19-jarige leeftijd in kasteel Staverden is gestorven. Zij schijnt volgens de legende daar nog steeds rond te dolen en te huilen in de nacht.

St Peter's Church (Dutch: Sint-Pieterskerk) in Leuven, Belgium, is a Roman Catholic church built in the 15th century in the Brabant Gothic style. The church has a cruciform floor plan and a low bell tower that was never completed. It is 93 metres long. It stands on the Grote Markt, opposite the town hall. In 1999, the belfry and bell tower of the church were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the site Belfries of Belgium and France, in recognition of the civic and architectural importance of belfries in the region.
