Farmstead cheese production is pretty fascinating, & we’ll take a tour of the farm & the cheese-making operation. Everything is a factor: the goats & sheep, the grass, the weather, the milk, the cheesemakers’ skill & dedication. It all comes together to form the cheese on the plate. Chef Emry of Q Wood Fired Grill in nearby Waitsburg is a master of cooking w/ flame. Emry grew up on a ranch & has authentic cowboy cooking skills. Sandy handles the beverages w/ a degree in enology & viticulture.
Found this one in a tiny little mom-and-pop antique shop on my way to do some sight-seeing in Kyoto. I think it got pushed around in the wardrobe while I was abroad, and it's in need of some TLC to bring it back to its former glory.

Man... I love Bermuda.
While I'm home I often drive my bike with my cameras around my neck (40D with 24-70 around my neck and 30D with 70-200/2.8L over my shoulder) because there is something beautiful to capture everywhere, whether it be the architecture or just the coast! I'm always worried of falling and destroying my cameras though... lol.

This one reminds me of uric acid crystals in a urine specimen (only more colourful). What can I say, I'm a laboratory technologist by day!
Because of Carmeggedon we spent the weekend in LA, Jason had to be on call for work, so we made a little weekend of it. On Saturday the boys did Hollywood and I treated myself to a solo adventure at the LA Arboretum. It was gorgeous! 127 acres of gardens, ponds with all sorts of things to see, explore and discover. My set follows my day in the order I took them and each photo is sooc. no editing.
The Raku symbol superimposed over the 'Reiki Angel' I created which again is superimposed over a rainbow graphic.

I can't believe we forgot to get pictures of our shirts.
Well, I sort of can, our minds were awfully preoccupied.
:D
Personally, I do love those lineups. They're fascinating and everyone is so pumped.
It was astounding the gradient of fans
The twi-moms, the cheerleaders in overpriced clothing (seriously, they were practicing a cheer whilst in line. props to simultaneous dedication), the art-drama-extremely outgoing bunch and me, knitting.
I should stop here, I'll just keep going and going.
and going.

Was in Fresno during the 2011 rains and when it cleared there were great skies to shoot.
I'm very much a neophyte to shooting nature...
