Oi meninas!!!
Gostaram??
Beijo :*

CF card failure at the beach yesterday. Sea birds, great waves, kite surfers. It was about a month old and made by fuji. That is a first, I think I will stick with the San Disk which are as old as the 20D and wait until I can get to civilization to get some more.
Returning to the car park the Duvet Hound came across some dumped glass, (fuckers). So I think we will be out of action for a couple of weeks. The patient is fractious and feeling sorry for herself. I cant operate on my own, she cleans the lenses

The idea for today was to take some picture using the flash to create a gradient. I experimented with a few different subjects, and finally decided the leather of my iPad case would work best.
Gradient post by railway line at Highley, Shropshire. Trains descend a slight gradient on way to Arley.
Can't make up my mind whether this shot works better in colour or black and white.
1. I would say that the sapce is pretty deep. The darkness of the backround compared to the brightness of the flowers suggest that the flowers are farther forward.
2. There is definitely movement due to the flowers going off of the page, and the lines in general moving in the same direction as well as going off the page.
3. The flowers seem pretty heavy in this, because of their size and emphasis to them. The weight matches their importance, since they are the main focal point.
4. Negative space works well because of the balance and unity it provides. Without it, it would seem as though the flowers are just floating.
