Still retaining traditional cobbled sets and with a rather sudden one-in-ten gradient: one of Manchester's more interesting back streets.

Just playing around in Paint.NET. Started in an exercise in glitch art, but then I started messing around with layer's blending mode.
The color gradient from orange to blue is achieved by setting the white balance to fluorescent, and increasing the saturation. There's a 5-stop exposure difference between the sky and the foreground.

Experimenting with light gradient on a bottle of red wine. Two strobe flash lights from each side with softboxes and reflectors and one strobe flash with honeycomb grid on label from below.

I'm going to turn this yarn into a hat. Maybe. Still haven't developed a plan beyond "dye yarn."
