I love the sea's sounds and the way it reflects the sky. The colours that shimmer across its surface are unbelievable. This, combined with the colour of the water over white sand, surprises me every time. (John Dyer)
Experimental Color gradients generated using cosine waves for Red, Green and Blue color components.
Parameters for cosine wave Offset, Amplitude, Frequency and Phase have been animated for every RGB component.
Beach at Akumal, Mexico, on the Yuccatan Peninsula. This is where we stayed for 8 days (most of our holiday). This shot is straight out of the camera except for exposure adjustment. Note the "Bleb" clouds...

A principio eu tinha esmaltado apenas com o Boreal (Big Universo - 2x), e apesar de bonitinho eu achei meio sem graça 'sozinho'. Então resolvi fazer um gradiente laranja nele, daí utilizei o Times Square Tangerine Creme (N.Y.C) e o Batom (L'apogée)...e ainda não feliz com o resultado resolvi flocar tudo com o Espectral (B.U). Amei! Pessoalmente o efeito ficou mais bonito do que nas fotos!!

This was an initiative to knit more sweaters I can wear to work. This turned out to be one of my favorite sweaters. I just love working with unspun Icelandic (plötulopi). The range of natural colors is great enough to allow for a fade-out effect.
The pictures are taken the day after a night of bar-hopping, as you can plainly see ;-). Don't ask me why I'm holding that tree.
The sunset itself wasn't that spectacular because of the distant clouds, but the gradients with the sun below the horizon were beautiful.
Maxed out contrast and saturation in camera, added a bit more in Gimp. Brought out a little definition in the stones with curves.
* Explored * - thanx, guys. Hmm - this is my second sunset in explore. I spot a pattern...
