What happens when you click the location link LiveJournal adds automatically to your entries, when the location in question is given as "at my desk, about to hit the shower before bed."
Needless to say, I'm neither in the US nor Japan. :)
WTF? 2x iPhone 3G with different provider - 1x 1st generation iPhone (all running V2.1)
Test made inside (but close to a large window - A-GPS could have kicked-in - but did not)
- the winner is the 1st generation iPhone
- then 3G with Swisscom
- then 3G with Orange (showing location somewhere in Germany.. ???)
* Fly 2 G.E ( Flies to the current location in Google Earth if you have it installed)
* Add Place marker (puts a pin in the map)
* Measure Distance (measures distance between last 2 place markers, and also a cumulative total between all place markers)
* Display Lat/Lon List - Displays the latitude and longitude coordinates of all the place markers as a CSV list
* Show route - This will display a route between the last 2 placed markers.
* a CSV (comma separated values) file
* a Google Earth KML path file. When opened in Google Earth, if you click the "play" button, the "camera" will fly smoothly along the path you have created.
More and more shops are showing this sticker proudly - that they can be found on google maps - no Yell/Yellow pages sticker though!

This is where my grandma lives in Issaquah, WA. Notice how she's the only one still with trees on her lot.

This is where I live... shown on google maps.....when i am writing my exact adress, all that is shown is some bare field nearby..... but here I have taken a screenprint and drawn some helping lines....the red area is my land right now...before changing land (because of the wet-area project) we did have the piece of land shown in white.....we changed it with the piece of land beside the house at the right of the photo here and it is inside the red lines but here seen as a field.....part of this newest field/land is becoming a new garden with place for vegetables and a lot of fruit-tress...and the area we have planned for this use is the dark blue...the rest is just there...not for garden use but the animals like some spare land.
So the land that belongs to us is the red area....not the white anymore....
the light blue areas is the wet-area water and maybe I have shown too much water, maybe not that close ....below is on googlemaps the dark-bluish black river "Gudenå"...and you can walk between the river and the wet ares on the former dike, which has got new bridges....so the water can run freely bewtween the river and the wet-area.
The yellow spot is my house and the small light green line is the greenhouse.

No, non donne in particolare.
I love how the little blue dot follows me as I walk to the bus stop. The "Departs in 8 minutes" indicator is handy, too, especially when it says, "Departed N minutes ago."
