Golden Grove was awarded in 1998 by the Real Estate Federation for 'World's Best Residential Building Project', hence why the Golden & Grove Ways have been marked with these signs. After a decade of being an eyesore, all three have now been taken down. If anyone has taken any photos of these before removal; please leave a message!

And... my house is somewhere in this pic, too. ;) As well as the house I lived in before this one.
I have no idea of how this thing was ever brought up to the roof. There are no stairs you can use, so it was probably brought up in pieces and assembled up there.
I spotted this car with a weird contraption on its roof while sitting in the rear seat with Soupy driving. Jon and MSGMaike were with us also. We then saw a Google sticker and immediately thought "Google Maps Street View". This guy was on Cesar Chavez right at Spring Street.

It has started!
Over the last days 11 has shown himself to be the more adventurous, flying North to Overwater, West to Dubwath and recently North-West into Howgill Wood. South did not seem to hold much interest for him until yesterday when suddenly, whatever the trigger is that starts migration snapped to ON, and he was OFF. We are only just picking up some of the data but here is where he spent last night. It was in a wood beside a lake at Hunsterson, Cheshire, 4 miles SE of Nantwich. A distance as the crow flies of about 136 miles – not bad for a 13 week old!
This morning he was 1.5 miles South at 9am and another 2 miles at 10am. We do hope that he is able to catch his own fish as only the day before he took his share from Dad in the nest. Meanwhile 12 made the slightly easier trip to Derwent Water and back.

For all #Android users, we have got another reason to #celebrate..!! yes, Google has upgraded its #Android Maps. It gets #offline #search and #direction and it also lets devices find #businesses, #Location, Opening hours and Telephone numbers while offline
If you wish to make use of this feature you may have to do is to tell the app to "download this area" you select. Once the #information has been installed, the app is designed to switch "Flawlessly" between #offline and #online modes
The offline map will robotically bring data up to date once in every 15 days to stay present so long as the handset is plugged into a charger and linked to #wifi, unless the user overrule these limitations.
This upgrade is available only in Android devices and soon it s it intends to bring the upgrade to Apple's iOS devices soon
