I took this shot last June in a wonderful junk shop in Ontario. However I have never been able to process it quite the way I wanted. BUT I have now downloaded the free Google NIK collection plug in for Photoshop which has enable me to produce the vintage look I was after. Hope you enjoy my first attempt...

Die Google Zentrale in Irland wurde vom Architektenstudio Camenzind Evolution in Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Henry Lyons Architekten entworfen und verwirklicht.
Das Ziel des Projektes war, ein inspirierendes und interaktives Ambiente für die Angestellten zu kreieren.
Die Architekten versuchten, einen multifunktionellen Raum zu gestalten.
5 Restaurants, 42 kleine Küchen, Erholungsbereiche, Fitness, Pool, Wellness Bereich, über 400 formale und informale Konferenzräume, ein Forschungszentrum sind nur die Highlights im Interieur.
Alle Bereiche wurden laut der Google Philosophie für interaktive und kommunikative Arbeitsatmosphäre konzipiert.
Die Gebäude sind durch eine Brücke miteinander verbunden, die wie ein gläsernes Dreieck mit abgerundeten Ecken aussieht.
Das Bild im Kommentarfeld habe ich nach dem Entzerren lediglich mit einigen Ausbesserungen versehen.
Bei diesem hier mergte ich drei Fotos... es ist immer noch ein weites Übungsfeld, aber so langsam wird es besser ;-)

Thanks to "Caso Cerrado" I have learned Spanish language.
I also found it very interesting with diverse subjects that offers a new perspective on life meaning. I have been watching Caso Cerrado since 2004. Now, I have to enjoy only the daytime episodes at 2:00 pm because the 7:00 pm show is not anymore televised. I hope it will return soon.
I miss it very much.

متصفح خفيف وسريع بشكل مو طبيعي
قارنته بنفسي بين جهازي وجهاز اخوي
جهازه اسرع من جهازي بكثير

I was going to show this image to someone this weekend and I could not find it in my stream here. I thought for sure I had uploaded it a while ago. Oh well, it's here now.

I took this with my cellphone because I had a 500mm Prime lens on my Nikon and it wouldn't work. I asked this fisherman for permission to photograph him, he was extremely nice and cooperative. I told him he was a perfect model with all that equipment hanging off him for a trout fisherman and those sunrays and fog would be a big bonus. Not the resolution of a DSLR but I LIKE IT. I hope to see him again and give him a copy of this image. I've seen him many times before in this spot. It is worth enlarging just to see his vest of goodies, fishing net on his back, scissors near the fish and more. He was prepared and got there early ahead of the crowd.
I took this on June 29. I had a print made and gave it to him today 10/3. I had been carrying it in the car in case we saw him again. He was pleased.
The hurricane about this time last year wiped out part of this bridge when a huge old tree fell across it; it has been repaired. This island wildlife refuge is now full of piled up downed humongous old trees that fell during the hurricane. The ground was saturated before the hurricane even came and the wind took down many of the older trees.
I made this image fairly late in my trip to the Faroe Islands. I was staying in the town of Leirvik at this point, having relocated to the eastern part of the archipelago to be closer to the islands of Kalsoy, Kunoy and Viðoy. By this point I had hit most of the spots I had really wanted to see and was poring over Google maps to visit any places that looked interesting but had been passed over in my initial examinations. I had already discovered that it was impossible to go anywhere on these islands and not be amazed, so I was really just looking for a place to point to as an initial direction to head, content to enjoy whatever I discovered along the way. Kunoy Park seemed just such a spot and I wanted to see the island of Kunoy as it was, so this seemed like a good place to start. One upshot to visiting the park here and reading about its history is it made me realize that one thing the Faroe Islands is almost completely lacking is trees. I had noticed but not noticed this already. I think initially I was so distracted by the beauty of the place and once I had gotten used to that I had also gotten used to not seeing trees. Kunoy Park is one of the few places in the islands you can find trees and even these were planted by people. Later, after I had moved back to Tórshavn I asked my Airbnb host about this. According to her, the islands have pretty much always lacked trees. Before shipping became a reliable means of importing goods the islanders relied upon driftwood as a source of their building materials (I was especially curious how they built boats without forests for lumber). There were several beaches and coves on the islands known for collecting driftwood and these became prime harvesting locations. Most of the trees the islands saw wash ashore came from Norway, in case you were curious.
Anyway, with my affinity for forests and trees I really enjoyed my visit to Kunoy Park. Despite being planted by people, this park had a very natural feel to it and like any good forest was quite contemplative and quiet. I hiked up through its short length, passing a father and son playing in the woods and came to this back exit looking out on pasture and mountains and found this view moving enough to unpack the Hasselblad. Much of the islands is pervaded by a sense of quiet and timelessness steeped together. This is just one more example of such a spot where that came out. At least while I was standing there.

Sensational discovery.
The theory of parallel universes which has long been discussed among physicists around the globe has finally been proven. While a detailed report is yet to be published, rumor has it that a gate to parallel universes has been discovered at the most unlikely of places: the bottom of a sherry glass (see the note in the accompanying image).
Whether the discovery has been made before or after the consumption of the sherry and how much of the substance was possibly needed for the experiments to succeed remains yet to be investigated. Stay tuned for further news.

Boy, did I have a time trying to figure out both the actual name of this motel, and where we were when I photographed it!
At the time, I took a picture of the front sign so I would know the motel's name. Good enough, right? Nope! Even though I have a photograph of the sign indicating this was "Bass's Motel", I could find nothing on the internet about it. Nada. I ended up pinpointing where a previous photo was taken, then brought up google streetview and went along US 1 until I FINALLY found this motel, which gave me the name of the town. One problem solved. Clicking on a date in google streetview several years ago, a view popped up with a motel sign that read "Boidi Motel". Aha! I googled that, and up popped some (old) information. That doesn't help me know what the motel is called right now of course, but I know it was Boidi and then became Bass's. Maybe not for very long lol
I just noticed an optical illusion with this photo where your eyes keep trying to focus the image and it looks like it's shrinking.
