Where have all the flowers gone? Yesterday we cleaned out skeletal stalks from the garden, harvested a few shriveled tomatoes and melons, and but for late spinach and a few buried beets, the last of summer has all been pickled in jars. . . folksinger Greg Brown has a wonderful song, youtu.be/Nb-0ZCqga48

My sister Afrin and mum hugging each other before leaving home for Canada earlier today.

I wonder how long I will have to wait to see her again, we had to wait almost 3 years before she came two odd months back.

This year it was not a warm but a very dry month with only about

7-8 l/m² in our region and unfortunately I missed the main bloom of these lovely, little bells while away at the Baltic Sea.

This weekend was great for me and I really enjoyed it even if my mom isn't around. Dad will be leaving to work abroad again this week and I can't say goodbye cause I've to be in school. I hope my mom comes home from Manila soon :/

We had to have Ruffy put down the other day. She had a great 14 years and gave us so much pleasure. I miss her so much. She was such a big part of my regular routine, so I'm changing my daily routine as much as I can. I'm still processing it.. will be back when I can better handle the new normal. Or... I may just jump back in (not today) even if I'm not ready. Seeing your pics always puts a smile on my face. Thank you my friends for your kindness and support. xx
